Practising in hatha yoga for over ten years, beginning with meditation at Kagyu Samye Dzong Tibetan Buddhist Centre and continued meditation & āsana practice at the London Buddhist Centre, Iria undertook the two-year hatha teacher training at triyoga in 2018, further qualifying in Yoga Therapy for Chronic Pain with Nikki Jackson and Vicky Arundel. She is fully insured and accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance Professionals.

This deepening interest in the body led to a current Masters in Osteopathy at UCO London, which further guides her practice and teaching.

She is a qualified soft tissue therapist with a BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy awarded by ISRM, helping explore healing mechanisms through touch. She particularly enjoys working with athletes, performers and the older population, whether with recovery, injury prevention or helping find ways to better support the demands placed on the body.

She comes from the approach that mind and body are inextricably linked, impacting physiology and therefore its physical expression. She is immensely grateful for the traditions and teachers, past and present, inspiring a mindful, informed and embodied approach to health and clinical practice.
